The new year will be here before you know it and with it will come new hot fashion trends. For male hair, we predict that the volume will grow again.
Check out some of the upcoming men’s hair trends for 2016 from one of our favorite hairdressers, Tom Chapman Hair Design in Torquay, England. The always cutting-edge stylist was a finalist in both the Great British Barber Bash Competition and WAHL British Barber of the Year. Here are a few of his latest cuts and styles.
Big men’s hair must be easy to style. You want to do your best every day and everywhere. These fresh cuts look just as good with casual wear as they do with more formal clothing. Let’s take a look at these cool styles.
First, spiky hairstyles make a comeback for all hair types. These vertical looks are not the crusty spikes of the past. Use a hair dryer to train the hair, minimize how much product you need, and keep the look natural. These textured spikes look good with straight hair and faded sideburns as well as wavy curls.
Here is an abbreviation that we saw in 2015 and will continue to gain popularity. The crewcut-inspired look shows short hair, faded temples and textured hair on top of the forehead. It takes Caesar pony to the utmost.
A hairstyle that made a huge comeback this year and in 2016 literally gets bigger pomp . This version features a cool double undercut for added detail. The additional height and hair design on the back adds a modern touch to the retro style.
And a last look at the styles from short and worn to prickly waves to pointed spikes and an old pompadour of the old school. Talk to your barber about which of these styles is right for your hair type and lifestyle.
